Filing chapter 13 bankruptcy is not a one-shot deal. You do have the ability to file another chapter 13 bankruptcy case should your first case fail states Chapter 13 bankruptcy attorney David Siegel. No one sets out to fail in bankruptcy.

Filing for bankruptcy in Chicago does not mean that you lose your home. You can often maintain your home by making current payments under either chapter 7 bankruptcy or chapter 13 bankruptcy. If you do wish to surrender your home and you have filed chapter 7 bankruptcy, you still have time in your home.

Do not ignore that American Express, Visa, Golden One Credit Union, Credit Bureau USA, Midland Funding LLC lawsuits! These companies will take their judgments and convert them into wage garnishments and liens on real property.

You want to go through bankruptcy to get a discharge. The problem is, you likely have no idea as to what that means.
In the real world, a discharge is grounds for a trip to the doctor.
But in the world of bankruptcy, a discharge is a legal release from personal liability for payment of a debt.
